Erected scaffold to the front of the Vic Hotel in Rutherglen's main street to facilitate full renovations and repair works. The scaffold comprised three external decks to support rendering, brickwork, painting, and roofing, plus a birdcage scaffold beneath the verandah to maintain safe pedestrian access throughout the project.
Due to the proximity of overhead power lines, works required close coordination with the power authority — lines were de-energised during erection and dismantling, with shade cloth and lyta mesh installed as a safety barrier before power was restored each time.
Given the main street location, all works were carried out in compliance with a traffic management plan, with traffic control in place to safely manage vehicles and pedestrians for the duration of the project.
