Erected and dismantled scaffold across all buildings at a school to facilitate a full re-roof. The project involved approximately 600m of scaffold ranging from 2m to 6m in height, with the majority at 6m. Each building required scaffold set 1m below roof height as fall protection for the roofing crew, with stretcher stairs and access towers incorporated throughout for safe site access.
The project was located four hours from base, requiring careful logistical planning for each mobilisation. Trucks were organised to transport equipment to site, with accommodation arranged for the crew on every visit. Works were carried out on a fortnightly basis over three to four months, with scaffold relocated progressively as each section of roofing was completed.
